INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
The first four places earn
points according to the following table:

RELAYS
The first three places earn
points according to the following table. In relay events, teams may not sweep
all three (3) places for points. If all three places are won by a team they are
awarded 10 points and the competitors are awarded 4 points as long as there was
a relay that competed in the event.

At the conclusion of the
meet, one (1) point shall be awarded to each age group winner (see table
below - 8 points total), one (1) point to the girls overall winner, one (1) point to
the boys overall winner and one (1) point to the team with the most points for a total of
11 points. Exceptions to this will be teams with only one (1) sex, and if neither
team has representation in an age group at that meet.
The 8 and under relay teams
(Medley and Freestyle) Do NOT score points during Dual Meets, only at Divisional
and League Championship Meets.
YMCA AGE GROUPS
Note that 8 and under is NOT a separate age group. 8
and under swimmers are part of the 10 & under
group.
